Kenneday Draughtsman"<br>Dashed lines show "addition to bl'ks allowed by court after having been fenced for a certain time." <br>The Lewiston area boomed in the 1860s when gold was discovered in nearby rivers. When the Idaho territory was first organized in 1873, the territorial capital was Lewiston. One year later, in 1874, after the Montana territory was created out of Idaho, the territorial capital was moved to Boise.
