1 map : col., 22 x 34 cm.<br> Pasco was established in 1884 as a railroad town and incorporated in 1891. Its name comes from the Peruvian town of Cerro de Pasco. A surveying engineer for the railroad was reminded of his time in Peru by the unpleasant conditions he encountered in Pasco.
